Beautiful & intricately designed steel beaded flapper style evening purse. Metal frame is beautifully decorated with a floral leaf design and enamel painted flower at the center. The inside of the purse is lined with a very thin gray material and beautifully adorned with pink & teal flowers along every edge.
Measures approximately 8.3 inches long (from top of frame to bottom of purse) by 5.5 inches wide, at the widest point. Chain measures approximately 8.25 inches long (from top of chain to top of the frame (not including center piece).
In good condition with some minor wear, as expected with age. This purse is over 100 years old! There may be some loose string or very few missing beads. There also appears to be a staple possibly adhering part of the inner lining together. Please see all photos.
Recommended for display or collecting. Though the bag is functioning, the back frame tends to swing back when being held, leaving the bag open.
