Circa 1920s, Art Deco.
Portrait appears to be of an older married couple. The man is wearing a suit and the woman appears to be wearing a black dress or blouse, and a 3-strand pearl necklace.
At weddings, portraits of the bride and groom on pocket mirrors were given as keepsakes starting in the early 1900s. Other family-related events, including anniversary & military portraits, have also been recorded and preserved on these portable mirrors.
Measures approximately 2.75 inches long by 1.75 inches wide.
Mirror is still functional but does have a noticeable amount of wear. Celluloid side (portrait side) of mirror appears to be in great condition. Please see all photos.
