1930s Art Deco Bronze Knight in Archway The Travelers Convention Palm Beach FL 1931 Bookends

Circa 1930s.
Beautifully detailed bookends made for a Traveler Insurance Co. convention in Palm Beach, 1931 in the form of a knight in armor under a gothic arch. Bookends are bronze with a nickel plated finish, giving them a slight silver tone.
Back of each bookend is engraved “THE TRAVELERS CONVENTION PALM BEACH FLORIDA 1931”. On the bottom right corner of each bookend, it is also stamped “PATENT PENDING”. On the right side of each bookend is “GORHAM CO.” maker’s mark.
Each bookend measures approximately 7.75 inches tall by 4.5 inches wide, and has a depth of approximately 3 inches.
Bookends have a combined weight of approximately 10lbs, 3.7oz.
In great condition with no noticeable flaws, aside from minor wear & spots of tarnish, as pictured. Please see all photos.
