Vintage 1940s WWII Era Pictorial Review 35th Special U.S. Naval Construction Battalion Seabees Scrapbook Picture Book WW2

Measures approximately 12.75 inches long by 9.75 inches wide. 

Please note that these do not appear to be personal photographs, but rather a book of photographs that may have been given to members of the 35th battalion. There is a section at the end of the book that is reserved for personal photographs, but there are none attached. There are 101 photographs featured in this book.

The title page features a picture of a Seabees Special 35th Battalion sign and writes “35th Special U.S. Naval Construction Battalion - Lt. Albert B. Herbold, Officer-in-Charge.”

In great condition for its age. Please see all photos. 

HISTORY: The 35th naval construction battalion was formed in October 1942 in Davisville, Rhode Island. They operated in areas like Espiritu Santo, Russell Islands, & Manus.
