Karu Arke Inc. was a New York-based costume jewelry company founded in the 1940s as a partnership between Paul Kaufman and Jack Ruderman. Originally known simply as “Karu,” the name later evolved into “Karu Arke” in the 1950s. The company was well-regarded for its intricate designs, often featuring rhinestones, faux pearls, and metalwork in gold or silver tones.
Brooch measures approximately 1.75 inches in diameter.
