Circa 1950s. Made in Germany.
Bottom of figurine is stamped "SCHAU BACH KUNST GERMANY", featuring the distinctive crown and sword emblem used by the German porcelain maker. There is also a "1347" mark.
Schaubach Kunst originated from the venerable Wallendorf factory (founded 1764) in Thuringia, and is known for its elegant figurines and tableware, eventually becoming its own brand, Schaubach Kunst, after a period of ownership changes, producing distinctively styled porcelain figures before nationalization in East Germany and later reopening post-reunification using original molds.
Base of figurine measures approximately 4.6 inches long by 3 inches wide. Measures approximately 6 inches tall.
In good condition with no noticeable flaws. No chips or cracks. Please see all photos.
