Vintage 1950s WEISS Signed Faceted Black Glass Gold Tone Mesh Bracelet 7”

Circa 1950s. Underside of clasp is signed “WEISS”.

Beautiful gold tone mesh bracelet with prong set faceted black glass stones, and a silver tone clasp. 

Albert Weiss founded his company in New York in 1942. Weiss imported rhinestone from Austria, created ornaments by hand. Later, Weiss Jewelry Company was handed over to his son Michael, but he could not maintain its relevance in the market and in 1971 the company ceased to exist. Today jewelry by Albert Weiss enjoys unprecedented popularity among the fashionistas and lovers of vintage.

Bracelet measures approximately 7 inches long by 0.55 inch wide, and has a fold over snap clasp.
