Front of token reads “From HOTEL DE PARIS,” “GOOD FOR 24 HOURS”, “LOUIS DUPUY”, & “GEORGETOWN, COLO.” In very small writing, near the hole of the token, reads “COLO. MINTING CO. 1894”.

The back of the token reads “WINE, WOMEN AND SONG”, “FIRST CLASS”, “ONE HIGH CLASS LAY”, & “MADAME SOPHIE’S MOTTO SATISFACTION GUARANTEED”.

It is cast or struck metal, weighty, oblong, squared off at one end, and rounded at the other. Ornamental motifs include banners, ribbons, & four-petal flowers.
