The figure is mounted onto a clear crystal platform base with bevel cut edges. Marked with the etched signature "Lalique, France" on bottom of base and original "CRISTAL LALIQUE PARIS" sticker.
This figure was originally made by Rene Lalique and was issued in 1931. At some time, the design was retired and the figure was reissued by Lalique in 1945 and retired again in 1978.
Measures approximately 3.75 inches tall. Body of buffalo measures approximately 5 inches long. Base measures approximately 3.5 inches long by 1.5 inches wide. Bottom of base is affixed with three felt dots to prevent surface scratching.
