Inside of bail is stamped "TT-44", "MEXICO", & "925".
Circa 1979, the eagle system was put to rest and replaced by a new letter/number mark to indicate the silversmith and guarantee sterling standard. The “T” represents Taxco, and the “T” represents the first initial of the silversmith. The number indicates that the maker is the 44th smith, with a name beginning with T, register a mark in their city's assay office.
Pendant measures approximately 1.45 inches long (including bail) by 0.8 inch wide.
Chain measures approximately 19.9 inches long and has a spring ring clasp. Clasp of chain is stamped "925" & "ITALY". Also appears to have a maker's mark, though undecipherable.
Necklace weighs approximately 9.73 grams, in its entirety.
In good condition with no noticeable flaws. Locket opens and closes securely. Silver may have some minor patina as expected with age & wear, but can be polished if you desire. Please see all photos.
