Circa 1980s or later. Made in Mexico.
Underside of key is stamped "MEXICO", "925", & "TR-70".
Circa 1979, the eagle system was put to rest and replaced by a new letter/number mark to indicate the silversmith and guarantee sterling standard. The “T” represents Taxco, and the “R” represents the first initial of the silversmith. The number indicates that the maker is the 70th smith, with a name beginning with R, register a mark in their city's assay office.
Can be worn as a brooch or as a pendant (vertical).
Measures approximately 2.4 inches long by 1.1 inches wide (at widest point).
Weighs approximately 9.11 grams.
In good condition with no noticeable flaws. Silver has some patina as expected with age & wear, but can be polished if you desire. Please see all photos.
