Vintage Signed Van Dell 1/20 12K Gold Filled Banded Agate Cabochon Necklace
Circa 1940s-1950s, Midcentury. Beautiful gold filled Y-drop necklace with bezel set genuine banded agate cabochons.
Underside of one of banded agate cabochons is stamped "Van Dell 1/20 12K". Clasp of chain is also stamped "1/20 12K GF". Van Dell Corporation was founded in 1939 in Providence, Rhode Island, becoming renowned for high-quality, fine-style costume jewelry, often using 12K gold-filled or sterling silver materials. They ceased operations in 2016.
Necklace measures approximately 16 inches long and has a spring ring clasp. Drop length measures approximately 1.25 inches long. Necklace weighs approximately 7.77 grams.
