Circa 1990s. Underside of brooch is stamped "925" & "MWS". M.W.S. jewelry brand began its history in 1984 which lasted for two decades. The brand bears the name of Mark Wasserman Samara, the founder and president of New York company MWSI, INC. (aka M.W. Samara, Inc) since 1972.
